Crafted at Château Canon with care, the wine ages in subtle oak, building elegant texture and depth. Tasting note
The wine has a dark ruby garnet and purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of red wild berries, floral nuances and a hint of cranberries as well as delicate notes of precious wood develop. On the palate, it is juicy, freshly structured with fine tannins and a finesse structure. The delicate fruit sweetness on the finish makes it a harmonious and very appetizing wine.
Culinary recommendation
This elegant and structured wine goes well with dishes such as rack of lamb, grilled beef or aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand, destemmed and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for about 18 months, using 50-70% new wood, depending on the vintage.
