About the wine
What Markus Schneider has achieved in recent years is hard to believe. In 1994, it started from scratch, so to speak. And today, 22 years later, he and his team work on over 92 hectares, bottles around 800,000 bottles a year and is described by the German trade press as The Phenomenon and The Favorite of the Young Scene.

Tasting note
On the nose, complex aromas of grapefruit, orange and star fruit, rounded off by oriental spices, black tea and vanilla. Lively fruit acidity and wonderfully fresh on the palate.

Vinification
Only highly ripe, healthy and selectively hand-picked grapes are used for this Chardonnay. After a six-hour maceration period, the grapes are gently pressed. The must ferments in temperature-controlled 1200 liter barrels and is not brightened.
