Tasting note
This vineyard was planted by David Finlayson on terraces that he cut into the steepest slope of the Edgebaston property in Stellenbosch. The trellis system is low and unusual in South Africa as it produces very low yields and small grapes. The vineyard is cultivated by hand and cultivated exclusively according to ecological principles.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seafood such as sea bass or lobster. Light meat dishes such as quail or veal. Grilled vegetables with cashew nuts, peanuts and soy sauce.
