Tasting note
In the glass, the Clos Saint-Hilaire has a deep golden yellow color and fine pearls. The nose reveals complex aromas of dried fruit, roasted brioche, honey and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and harmonious with notes of ripe pear, honey and fine minerality that result in a long, elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended companions include lobster with beurre blanc, foie gras, truffle risotto or roasted duck with cherry glaze.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in oak barrels. The wine then ages on the lees for 15 years before disgorging at a very low dosage of 1 g/l
