Tasting note
Beautifully sparkling golden yellow; wide range of aromas already in the nose; noble fruit, ripe fruit, some citrus. Balances the delicate yeast and nut aromas. Creamy soft and excellent fine perlage on the palate. The finale is not too dry — very good balance.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled crustaceans, mussels or as an aperitif with exotic finger food.
Vinification
Only the best batches and base wines of the respective vintage are used for vintage champagne. The normal fermentation of the individual grape musts in steel tanks and the subsequent assemblage is followed by bottle fermentation on the yeast. The bottles stand upside down and are shaken regularly. After “disgorging” and further short bottle aging, the champagne is sold.
