Tasting note
Tenuta di Tavignano has made a big name for itself throughout Italy and beyond with its white wines made from the Verdicchio grape. It should not be forgotten that Stefano Aymerich Di Laconi and his niece Ondine de la Feld grow other local grape varieties and process them into an extremely likeable red, the Cervidoni Rosso Piceno. The Montepulciano variety contributes the rustic, wild power, the Sangiovese acts as the fruity, balancing element in the blend: together, an exciting and very pleasing cuvée.
