Cerons AOC 2016 - Château de Cérons

Giorgio Cavanna lives out his passion for wine in a particularly charming place: in Cérons on the banks of the Garonne, on the northern corner of the Cérons-Barsac-Sauternes triangle. These vineyards, shaped by the graves (river pebbles), are suitable for all Bordeaux wine types: red and dry white wine as well as the typical regional specialty par excellence: sweet white dessert wine based on sugar-rich grapes concentrated by noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). Two thirds of Sémillon vines are over 50 years old. The wine is aged for a good 18 months in barriques of different ages. Complex aromas and long-lasting.
