About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta da Boa Esperanca has absolutely mastered his craft. Tasting note
Ruby-red wine with cherry and toasted aromas, which are due to the grape variety and the long aging in barrels. In the mouth, due to the long maturation in the barrel, it has a beautiful structure, with balanced acidity and minerality, resulting in a harmonious and long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game and hard cheese.
Vinification
Complete destemming followed by maceration before fermentation. Subsequent fermentation at a controlled temperature. Aging for 24 months in French oak barrels. Ageing in bottle for 18 months.
