About the wine
This distinctive grenache 2014 — Cannonau di Sardegna DOC is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Sunny and fertile landscapes in Sardinia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantine Su'entu conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
In the bouquet of red berries, plums and violets, there is still a fine oak wood note, warm on the palate, full without being bulky, with a fine structure, licorice and mocha notes in the fine-melty finale.
Culinary recommendation
Delicious meat dishes made from game, lamb and beef, which are braised or cooked on the grill as usual in Sardinia. We always recommend grilled fish.
Vinification
The cannonau is fermented in stainless steel for freshness and aged for half a year in second and third barrels for balance.
