Tasting note
Intense bouquet with notes of sour cherry, dried plum and lingonberry. Hints of orange zest, cinnamon and allspice Powerful on the palate, with fresh acidity and the aroma of dried berries. Some laurel. Fine-grained, easily noticeable tannin and a long aftertaste of sour cherry fruit. This red wine is ideal with grilled salmon, fried duck, creamy mushroom risotto and aged Comté. The “Caesar” is also a versatile accompaniment to fine sausages, light meat dishes and aromatic cheese platters.
