Expressive aromas of black fruits flow out of the glass. Juicy black cherries and cassis combine with blueberries, licorice and sandalwood. On the palate, it is full-bodied and intense. Vinification
Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is our oldest tradition here at Rust en Vrede. The variety for which Stellenbosch is best known, Rust en Vrede Cabernet Sauvignon, offers a concentrated and classic rendering of the variety. The grapes for this wine come from 22 hectares of vineyards planted on the Rust en Vrede estate. The Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 18 months in 300 liter French oak barrels, 20% of which was new wood.
