The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon impresses with classically expressive aromas of ripe currants, tobacco, leather and subtle hints of pencil chips, accompanied by seductive notes of dark chocolate. Vinification
Joseph Phelps's Cabernet Sauvignon (92%) matured over a period of 16 months in a careful combination of 50% new and 50% used oak barrels. French and American oak barrels were used to achieve an optimal balance of complexity, structure and elegance.
