Enchanting and fertile landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Astoria conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
The refreshing scent spectrum of fruit compote, spices and tobacco plays virtuously with your sense of smell. Afterwards, spicy nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper will resolutely and consciously convince your taste buds. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine shows its flawless structure.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 1-4 years. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with pizza with mushrooms, red meat and Gruyère burgers.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: The grape harvest takes place by hand at the beginning of October. After a 16-day maceration phase, the must is placed in steel tanks and undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation there. After a resting phase on the lees, the young wine is bottled and is sold after a short storage period.
