Tasting note
Rich, concentrated and complex Cabernet Sauvignon. At first glance, dark berries, cassis, dominate the nose. Fine wood, vanilla and smoke tones are also noticeable afterwards. Dense, rich structure, a drop with a lot of depth, a powerful body and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 1-5 years after harvest. Flaschenpost team is recommended for pizza with mushrooms, Gruyère burgers and ribeye steak.
Vinification
Information on vinification: Most of the grapes are destemmed, broken and cooled (to 10° C). Then cold maceration for 8 days. The alcoholic fermentation takes place at 30°C, followed by a 20-day post-maceration. 50% of the pressed wine is aged in new French barriques for 10 months and then added. All the wine goes into new barriques for 10 months.
