About the wine
The family company Azienda Agricola Enzo Boglietti has been pressing its own grapes since 1991. The region's typical varieties now grow on 22 hectares. The winery has made a name for itself in the wine world with Barolo cultivated in Neuholz in France for a very long time. In the meantime, the wines have tended to become more delicate and elegant again, and are still in the top league in the Barolo region.

Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red, nose with aromas of cherries, plums and violets, undergrowth and liquorice notes paired with spicy fruit on the palate. A balanced body with rich tannins and a strong aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal for hearty dishes, e.g. with lamb, game and mushrooms.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks for 12 days, battonage twice a day. Ageing for 18 months in barriques, 40% of which are new and 30% in second and third cases, 4 months in steel tanks and at least 2 months in bottle.
