About the wine
Fertile and blooming landscapes of Tuscany give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Conti Costanti conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Intense garnet red. Seductive notes of ripe cherries, dried fruit, leather and cedar wood. Mouth-filling on the palate, appears classic and elegant, with ripe tannins and wonderfully supportive acidity. Enormously complex and multi-layered, showing some chocolate and noble wood aromas in the long finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fine meat dishes.
Vinification
The grape harvest from selected Sangiovese sites is done by hand. This is followed by mash fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After biological acid degradation, the young wine is aged for three years in large French and Slavonian oak barrels. Only the best barrels are bottled as riserva and refined in the bottle for a further two years.
