Willi Bründlmayer's winery is a leading co-founder and a figurehead of the current Austrian wine scene. The winemaker owns beautiful vineyards on soils of volcanic origin around the village of Langenlois (50 km northwest of Vienna). Wines with inimitable refinement are produced here. Bründlmayer produces his dry sparkling wine using the classic champagne method and with the same grapes from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The fine mousse, a delicate scent of lemon and brioche as well as mineral notes distinguish the noble dry Extra Brut.
