About the wine
The Urs Hauser winery now has around 10 hectares of vineyards, 6 hectares are in Contone and about 4 hectares in Gordola, Gerra Piano, Cugnasco, Agarone, Gudo and Cadenazzo. The grape varieties are primarily Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Blanc and Johanniter. On the predominantly steep slopes, work is done almost exclusively by hand and great value is placed on quality. This is with the aim of getting the best out of it every year and reaching the limits of what is actually feasible in the vineyard. However, this is always done with the greatest respect and care for nature.

Tasting note
Straw yellow with golden yellow reflections, crystal clear, consistent.Fruity, smells of fruits with white flesh, apple, pineapple, fine scent of citrus and acacia. Dry, fresh and pleasantly juicy, elegant and persistent. Full-bodied and pleasant with a citrus aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with an aperitif, white meat, not oily fish and medium-aged cheese, risotto with perch.
