About the wine
With the biting white wine 2016 — Riesling Schiefer, nuances and accents are redefined. Picturesque landscapes of the Moselle-Saar-Ruwer region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the German winery Villa Huesgen conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Blue slate Riesling is bright yellow with golden reflections in the glass. In the nose, we notice yellow stone fruit (mirabelle), quince and herbs (mint) as well as some smoke. Juicy on the palate with yellow fruit and invigorating acidity. Firm grip with good aftertaste and salty mineral notes. A great food companion.

Goes well with light dishes, Asian dishes, risotto, veal, fish
Vinification
Herbicides are not used. The 20 to 30-year-old vines grow trellis. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in steel tanks and in 3600l wooden barrels with long maceration.
