About the wine
The winery was founded in 1896 in the municipality of Balavaud in Lower Valais. Jean-René Germanier took over the winery from his father. The estate is currently managed by Gilles Besse, Jean-René's nephew, with great success. The company has been completely equipped with new cellar technology in recent years and forms an important framework of Valais wine. Autochthonous grape varieties such as Cornalin, Humagne and Amigne have been part of the Jean-René Germanier program even before the hype about local and traditional things begins.

Tasting note
Intense, delicate and complex nose. Fruity, with scents reminiscent of blackberries and grilled bread. Fine, lively and full-bodied on the palate. With its impressive structure and persistent aroma, this is a very special class wine.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent as an aperitif. It also goes well with fish dishes, cheese specialties and other light dishes.
