About the wine
Le Tende, the small winery owned by the Fortuna and Lucillini families, is located very close to Lake Garda. Around 120,000 bottles are produced annually, of which the lion's share is Bardolino and Bianco di Custoza. Mauro Fortuna is responsible for production and he sees his big challenge in creating Bardolino wines that have more expression and depth than what is commonly on the market under this name. Fortuna therefore focuses on the Corvina grape, the noblest of the red Verona varieties. His Bardolino, especially the Superiore, is always a bit more distinctive and expressive than the vast majority of plants that go under this name.

Tasting note
Light straw yellow, fresh, floral scent with aromatic notes, soft fruit in the mouth and lasting freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasti and lighter pasta dishes as well as freshwater fish. Young to drink.
Vinification
One part of the grape variety is pressed immediately, the other is macerated with the skins for a short time. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks at 28-30°C for 15-30 days.
