About the wine
It's only been a few years since we founded Smith & Smith but can we already tell a few stories? Our wines tell the rest. Of course, very special wines. Some elegant, others lascivious, generous, some loudly, others whisper, all with character, individualists. And sometimes we long for the simple, the obvious, the original, the “That's the way it is here”, here in Rioja, or even here in Tessin, that's how White Merlot is here and that's how it should be. No tam-tam, just good wine with roots. Enjoy!

Tasting note
Charming guy. Completely unpretentiously left and by immensely engaging creatures, without hustle and bustle, ripe sweet pear, even apple. Nice abundance and yet completely down to earth, of course in its kind, sweet and tart character. Gentle and honest on the palate, harmonious and soft, sweet light fruit here too, without pressure, but does not bend over either, comes across as fresh and tart, a little nutty and dark earth in the background because that's just the way it should be, the white Merlot from Tessin. Don't drink too cold!
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Bianco del Ticino DOC passt hervorragend zu Ente, Geflügel und leicht scharfem, rotem Fleisch.
