Beaune Premier Cru Les Grèves AOC 2020 - Maison Edouard Delaunay

Deep dark ruby red robe with bluish reflections and pronounced viscosity. On the nose, a delicate, spicy balsamic bouquet with hints of pine resin. This is followed by mineral notes of flint, pebbles and moist soil. After brief ventilation, complex aromas of dark forest fruits such as black cherry, blackberry, black currant and lingonberry develop, accompanied by spicy gingerbread. A powerful start on the palate with rich, well-structured tannins. Earthy, mineral notes refer to the deep terroir of the lower reaches of Les Grèves. As it progresses, aromas of sloe and cherry brandy appear.
