Tasting note
When young, the Barolo Riserva Vignolo is deep cherry red with garnet reflections. On the nose, strong aromas of black cherries, dark berries and plums paired with spicy notes of rose petals, tar, black tea, licorice and some smoke inspire. On the palate, the wine is muscular and dense with beguiling fruit, strong spiciness, vibrating acidity and concentrated tannins. An extremely rich Barolo with immense aging potential.

Vinification
The grapes for this riserva come from Grand Cru Vignolo located in the South and Southeast region. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented spontaneously. The wine is traditionally aged for 4-5 years in large Slavonian oak barrels before the wine ages in the bottle for a further 12 months.
