About the wine
Sandrone is Burgundy Grand Cru from Piedmont — there is no bigger compliment for Barolo! Luciano Sandrone is not a blender — rather shy, always very correct, maybe a bit mischievous at most. And yet behind this modest façade lies one of the Barolista's most dynamic innovators. The winemaker could be described as a modernist among traditionalists, as he focuses on shorter fermentation times on the one hand and uses new wood very carefully on the other hand and only uses 500 liter tonneaus and no barriques. In any case, Sandrone wines with their unmistakable label have long since enjoyed cult status!

Tasting note
Die Aromen des Barolo Le Vigne DOCG von Anis drücken viel Finesse mit einer ganz individuellen Struktur aus. Als Nächstes zeigen die feinen Nuancen von Rosen und Kirsche ihren eigenen Charakter. Ein fruchtiger Rotwein mit kräftigem Körper und hervorstechender Säure, welcher kräftig mit satten Gerbstoffen auf Zunge und im Gaumen seine lebendige Struktur entfaltet.

Vinification
Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: 24 Monate in 500 Liter Fässern aus französischem Eichenholz und 18 Monate auf der Flasche.
