About the wine
Picturesque and fertile landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Ricossa conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Do you already know the outstanding Nebbiolo Barolo DOCG born in 2016? If not, it's time! The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a dining experience when you serve this Nebbiolo with truffle risotto or beef.
Tasting note
Deep and intense garnet red in the glass. On the nose, a complex bouquet with fruity and spicy notes: red berries, pickled cherries and jam are combined with hints of roses and dried violets, cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg, vanilla as well as some licorice, cocoa, tobacco and leather. Harmonious on the palate with an elegant structure and complex, finely integrated tannins. A powerful yet elegant wine with an expressive character.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried meat and truffle dishes.
Vinification
18 months in oak barrels, then 12 months in bottle.
