About the wine

Vineyards in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba in Baudana, which the company recently acquired. The soils come from Helvetic and Torton and consist mainly of layers of clay-chalky sedimentary marls and sandstones. The particular microclimate and the typicity of the area provide the ideal conditions for the best expression of the noble Nebbiolo vine. The plot is one of the preferred locations of Barolo DOCG, one of the most renowned and suitable in the region for the production of wines that are appreciated worldwide for their structure and durability. The terroir and the long aging in wood give the Barolo DOCG produced here a good body, elegant tannins and a persistent aftertaste.
