Tasting note
The Barolo Cannubi DOCG shows a garnet red color. The nose is dominated by intense aromas of roses, violets and red fruits, accompanied by fine spicy notes. On the palate, it develops a complex structure with elegant tannins and nuances of cherries, plums and a touch of licorice. The long, harmonious aftertaste rounds off the taste experience.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with red meat, game dishes, truffle dishes and aged cheese.
Vinification
After harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place. The wine is then aged in wooden barrels for at least 18 months and in the bottle for a further 20 months before it is on the market.
