Tasting note
The wine shows the typicity of the terroir: powerful and supple, with a long finish and magnificent acidity. It reflects the microclimate and the terroir, which reminds us of the great classic wines that are produced from this vineyard. First, earthy, moist forest soil, bitter orange and violets. A fine wine, full body and depth. Charming when young because of the aroma, but thanks to the fine tannin profile, the wine has a very long aging potential.

Vinification
One of the first classified crus in the region. It is not only the most famous winery in Monforte d'Alba, but also one of the true superstars of the entire Piedmont appellation. Ceretto has a small plot of 0.73 ha facing south in the heart of the Bussia Soprana winery. The average age of the vines is around 30 years; the vineyard is farmed biologically and dynamically.
