About the wine
The Epico Nizza Riserva is deep ruby red and impresses with an elegant, complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, dark berries, floral violet notes and fine spice. As it matures, harmonious balsamic and ethereal nuances develop. On the palate, it is powerful, balanced and structured — supported by fine, elegant tannins and an impressively long finish. Aged in large oak barrels for at least 18 months, this 100% Barbera stands for finesse, depth and extraordinary storage potential.

Tasting note
The bouquet is full and complex, with notes of ripe cherries and plums, cloves and toasted notes. On the palate, Barbera Nizza has a strong body, velvety and well-structured tannins. The aftertaste is well-balanced and medium in length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, barbecues, lamb.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully pressed and ferment in steel tanks for approx. 12 days. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for at least 18 months. This is followed by 12 months of bottle aging.
