About the wine
The production of the Barbera d'Asti Orange Label is the result of a new agreement involving the cultivation of 17 hectares of vines in Casorzo, province of Asti, in Monferrato, an area that has been cultivated with Barbera since the beginning of the 19th century.
Tasting note
Dark ruby red. The aromatic bouquet is reminiscent of blackberries, strawberries and cherries. This is accompanied by spicy notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Full-bodied on the palate with a pleasant freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with salami and antipasto, risotto and pasta. Ideal with meat, game and all types of spicy cheese.
Vinification
100% Barbera grapes from the municipality of Casorzo in the province of Asti. Mash and alcoholic fermentation for 15 days at controlled temperature. The wine is mainly aged in steel tanks, approx. 20% in barriques.
