In the medium-high areas around Monte Stefano, known as Mompirone, the soil consists mainly of marine sand, which has made it possible to produce wines of unique quality for over 2,000 years.

Tasting note
A persistent and sumptuous wine made from the best Barbera grapes from the highest part of Vèngore. With a ruby red color and spicy aromas, it releases notes of blackcurrants, cocoa and vanilla, which are the result of long aging in large Slavonian oak barrels.

Goes well with meat dishes, game, aged cheeses, casseroles and risotto with Barbera
