About the wine
Sunny and fertile landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Marco Bonfante conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the outstanding red wine 2014 — Barbera d'Asti Superiore Menego DOCG, nuances and accents are redefined. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Barbera with antipasti or Piedmontese dishes.

Tasting note
Deep, dense ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of ripe, red and black berries, but also cherries, spicy notes, complemented by toasted notes. Velvety tannins on the palate, lots of strength and density. Complex and elegant.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pizza, pasta, meat dishes
Vinification
The harvested grapes are destemmed and lightly pressed, then they are cold macerated in stainless steel tanks and then fermented traditionally. The subsequent aging takes place in used French barriques for 12 to 15 months. This wine has a “DIAM” cone so that a cone flavor is prevented.
