Tasting note
The Barbera d'Asti has a deep dark red, dense color. On the nose, it surprises with spicy notes such as cinnamon and vanilla, as well as plum and blackberry notes. Soft, juicy, dense and lively on the palate with a jam-like blackberry flavor, well-integrated wood and a long-lasting finish.

Vinification
The Barbera d'Asti Mongovone is made from 80-year-old vines in the municipality of Isola d'Asti. After traditional maceration, the wine ages in barriques for 12 months, followed by a short aging in the bottle.
