About the wine
Picturesque and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina Vietti conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the fine Barbera d'Asti DOC La Crena, which was produced in 2012, you will certainly have a lot of fun.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. Complex and deep, with aromas of black cherries, ripe plums and spicy notes of black pepper and vanilla. On the nose, floral nuances of violets and slight hints of aromatic herbs are also noticeable. On the palate, the wine is well-structured and enveloping, with velvety tannins and lively acidity that balances its fullness. The notes of red fruits and spices blend harmoniously with a pleasant minerality and revive a long and persistent finish. It is a wine that shows elegance and freshness and reflects the quality of the terroir.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with red meat, pot roast and game. It is also perfect with typical Piedmontese dishes such as truffle risotto and bagna càuda.
Vinification
The wine is produced by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 18 months of aging in wooden barrels, 20% of which are new. This process gives wine aromatic complexity and structure.
