About the wine
Tasting note
Strong ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe cherries and plums, accompanied by a hint of vanilla and spicy nuances — an indication of aging in wood. Lively and fresh on the palate with juicy fruit, well-integrated acidity and soft tannins. The aftertaste is long and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty antipasti, pasta with meat sauce, grilled meats, aged cheese.
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation in steel tanks, followed by aging in large wooden barrels.
