About the wine
Picturesque and fertile landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Orlando Abrigo conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Barbera with hearty, dark meat or antipasti.

Tasting note
Color: Intense ruby red with purple reflections Aroma: Rich and fragrant, with dominant notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by a touch of sweet spices, vanilla and slight nuances of tobacco. Taste: Dry and full-bodied, with good acidity that ensures freshness. The tannins are soft and well integrated and provide a pleasant finish. Plum notes and light spicy notes underline the complexity of the wine.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with first courses of meat sauces, pot roast, pork and aged cheese. It also goes well with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as veal with tuna sauce or tajarin with meat sauce.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and fermented traditionally at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for several months, causing the tannins to balance out and develop greater aromatic complexity.
