Bantu Cannonau di Sardegna DOC 2023 - Jerzu Antichi Poderi

Antichi Poderi di Jerzu is the cooperative winery founded in 1950 in the south-eastern part of Sardinia, which enables over 400 small farmers to sell their crops at decent prices. The oenologist is Franco Bernabei, who has accompanied the winery for over twenty years and has made it one of the leading producers on the island. Bantu is Antichi Poderi Jerzu's entry-level wine. The farmers who contribute the Cannonau grapes for this wine are accompanied by experts in vine care so that healthy, well-ripened grapes are processed from their mostly very old plants, even for this very inexpensive wine. The wine is juicy, warm, soft, harmonious and mischievously flattering.
