About the wine
Garnacha has a long tradition in Rioja, but single-varietal wines are only very rare. Baigorri's oenologist Simón Arina has tackled this major task, demonstrating his exceptional skills and innovative way of working. The grapes of this garnacha come from the best plots of the estate. They are subjected to strict, manual selection and expanded in the modern flagship winery Baigorri.

Tasting note
Impermeable purple. On the nose, red and black wild berries, juicy stone fruits, mocha beans and roasted almonds. Baked pear, currant chocolate and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, the wine has concentrated power, pleasant extract sweetness and soft texture. The warmth of Garnacha in harmony with plenty of freshness and drinking flow is unmistakable. A wine with charm, finesse and depth.
Culinary recommendation
Especially good with beef fillet, braised knuckle or lamb cutlet. Also with game dishes and oxtail.
