Tasting note
Deep purple. On the nose, the wine shows aromas of blackberries, blueberries, black cherries and undergrowth. There are also hints of cocoa, white pepper, rosemary, vanilla and licorice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, soft and fresh, with silky tannins.
Culinary recommendation
A treat with grilled beef, salsiccia or lamb chops with rosemary.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Only the best grapes are harvested. That is why every grape on the sorting table is subjected to a second selection. Careful processing and fermentation then begin in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The young wine is filled into oak barriques for biological acid degradation and subsequent maturation.
