About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Viano Michele masters this white wine in the blooming and fertile countryside of Piedmont. We have a special, provocative white wine from 2016 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Tasting note
This Arneis is pale straw yellow. On the nose, typical aromas of citrus fruits, yellow stone fruits, some hazelnuts and chamomile. On the palate, the wonderful harmony between freshness and fruit delights with a very slight bitter almond note on the finish. A long, mineral and pleasantly fresh finish makes this Arneis a classic of its kind.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, light fish dishes, seafood, Italian starters such as Vitello Tonnato or Carne Cruda, antipasti, poultry and mild cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes for this Arneis come from hills west of Alba. The vines there mainly grow on calcareous sandy soils. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately pressed and the juice is coolly fermented in steel tanks before aging again in steel.
