About the wine
We have a special, dominant white wine from 2016 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Antonelli masters this white wine in the blooming and fertile countryside of Umbria. Tasting note
A wide range of aromas such as white stone fruits, honey, flint, fresh herbs. On the palate, with lots of power and structure, relatively high acidity and fine but noticeable tannin on the finish. A white wine that certainly benefits from a few years of aging in the bottle.
Culinary recommendation
The tannins in this white wine make it the ideal accompaniment to creamy starters and pasta dishes: A good choice for Vitello Tonnato or spaghetti à la carbonara.
Vinification
Late harvest by hand at the end of October. Spontaneously fermented without temperature control. Long maceration on trays in ceramic containers. Aging for a few months in amphoras.
