Tasting note
The Chenin Blanc grapes come from a single vineyard with around 20-year-old vines. The wine was aged in oak barrels for around a year. Inviting nose with aromas of white peach, juicy apple, some quince and sweet citrus fruits, plus delicate notes of spring honey, white flowers and mineral tones, framed by subtle barrique seasoning. Also showing nice balance on the palate, of juicy, creamy fruit, great freshness and a touch of mineral “Flintstone” spice.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with poached or fried fish with saffron beurre blanc, with mussels, but also with poultry dishes. Also great with vegetable cooking, such as white asparagus, celery or cauliflower.
