About the product
Kah means life in the ancient Mayan language, but this tequila actually honors the “Dia de Muertos”, the Day of the Dead. The bottle design is inspired by the traditional calaveras that decapitate sugar dead, which can be found all over Mexico on this day. Each bottle is individually painted and is therefore unique. The tequila made from 100% blue agave has already received several awards.
Tasting note
The bottle design is inspired by the Nicaraguan “Day of the Dead.” Apart from traditional traditions such as building a shrine and providing gifts, this is a step further. After the fortifications that take place on the grave, some relatives even sleep on the graves. They see this as an act to strengthen the emotional connection between them and the deceased.
Vinification
Kah Añejo ages in American oak barrels for 24 months, which gives it an intense taste of agave, accompanied by chocolate, tobacco and coffee.
