Tasting note
This is the first vintage of an Amarone from a single vineyard of Massimago. Ruby red color, intense fruity notes of cherries, plums, spices and balsamic nuances on the nose. On the palate, the wine shows a lot of power and dynamism. Complex, very elegant and with a fresh finish.

Vinification
Selective hand picking of the flawless grapes. The intact grapes are then stored in flat wooden boxes for 100 days to dry in specially designated drying rooms. After crushing the grapes, maceration lasts about 40 days. The malolactic fermentation takes place in small barrels, followed by maturation for 30 months in large French oak barrels. The wine matures in the bottle for a further 12 months before it goes on sale. Only 1,233 bottles and 50 magnums were bottled.
