About the wine

La Musa is a so-called “brand”, i.e. a strictly selected selection of various wooden barrels from Cantina Sociale Valpolicella. Cantina Sociale Valpolicella was founded in 1933 with the background that small manufacturers could not keep up with the steady progress in order to equip their cellars with the necessary technical equipment and adapt them to steadily increasing trade needs. Today, Cantina Sociale Valpolicella has expanded its production activities to 200 winegrowers with a total of 450 ha of vineyards located in the hills of classic Valpolicella. The cantina is based in Negrar. From vinification to storage to bottling, the entire production process is covered with a total capacity of around 80,000 hl.
