About the wine
La Groletta is made from the classic Amarone grape varieties Corvina and Rondinella. Before vinification, the grapes are dried for up to four months, which gives the wine its characteristic, fully ripe aroma. This complex process ensures an intense, complex taste and makes Amarone a true soul-warmer for special occasions.

Tasting note
Medium intensity ruby red color. The bouquet delights with an expressive scent of ripe red fruits: strawberries, raspberries, followed by prunes, balsamic notes and a hint of English mint. The aromatic diversity continues on the palate: ripe fruit notes, typical of Amarone, combine with hints of nougat and milk chocolate. A refreshing liveliness and well-embedded, gentle tannins harmoniously round off the taste experience. The aftertaste is long-lasting and intensely aromatic.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pot roast, lamb gigot and tagliata. Also goes well with venison stew, roast beef with mushrooms and ripe pecorino.
Vinification
Before the grapes are vinified, they are dried for up to four months.
