About the wine
The Aleksić winery was founded in Vranje in 2006, paving the way for the revival of viticulture in southern Serbia. It was founded by three sisters whose love for wine was sparked by family tradition from an early age. For them, wine has always been more than a profession, it is a life task and a legacy that is passed on from generation to generation. In these fifteen years of work, they have created an extremely interesting portfolio with just as many labels, each wine represents a bold step forward in exploring new frontiers of traditional flavors, impressive in its category and unique on the market.

Tasting note
Dark ruby red. On the nose, a delicate, complex bouquet of red berries, fully ripe plums, dried figs and Christmas cookies. Underpinned by fine roasted aromas, plus notes of licorice. Juicy on the palate. Fine, warm spicy nuances and dark berry fruit. Smooth yet noticeable tannins of good quality, which, paired with warm-fruity aromas, blend into the persistent and beautifully lingering aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with wild boar, wild fowl and other hearty meat dishes.
Vinification
The grapes for Amanet come from the best locations and are strictly selected. Fermentation is temperature-controlled in steel tanks for ten to twelve days at 26°C. The wine is then aged for 15 months in 50 hl Serbian oak barrels. After bottling, the wine is left to rest in the bottle for six months before it is sold.
