Tasting note
Strong ruby garnet, violet reflections, wider edge brightening. Delicately spicy, dark slate spice, hints of blackberries, some cassis. Juicy, fresh cherries, fine tannins, salty-mineral, lemony aftertaste, good development potential.
Culinary recommendation
Partridge with red cabbage, bacon wrapped pork tenderloin with green beans.
Vinification
Very late selective hand harvest, this wine comes from the oldest vines and matured for 24 months, partly in new and partly in used barrique barrels.
