About the wine
Blue Zweigelt is Austria's most popular red wine variety and originates from the intersection of St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch. The Zweigelt is characterized by its cherry fruit and a juicy, soft style. The plain between the Parndorfer Platte and the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl is referred to as heath soil. Warm, sandy and permeable soils provide the conditions for classically aged, easy-to-drink wines.
